Nidra and Sound Meditation w/ Yog Padma

Activate your Parasympathetic Nervous System with Yogic Sleep & Sound Healing

Description

Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation practice that brings you into a deep state of conscious relaxation between wakefulness and sleep. It systematically leads you through body awareness, breath control, and visualization techniques to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting profound rest and healing. Unlike traditional meditation, which requires focused attention, Yoga Nidra allows you to effortlessly enter a meditative state while lying down, making it accessible to all levels. It helps release physical tension, calm the nervous system, and quiet mental chatter, supporting emotional balance and overall well-being. Combining Yoga Nidra with a Sound Bath, deepens the meditative experience. The healing vibrations of instruments like Tibetan bowls, Gong, and Chimes enhance relaxation, balance brainwave activity, and restore energetic harmony. This powerful combination allows you to emerge feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and deeply at peace. Yog Padma is a highly experienced 500 E-RYT, with extensive training in Bali and India and over nine years teaching globally. Her mission is simple yet profound: helping others heal and transform, guiding others towards inner balance.  She teaches using a holistic approach grounded in the deep wisdom of its Eastern roots to create a practice that nourishes the body & spirit. In addition to her yoga expertise, Ashley is also a certified trauma and somatics practitioner, thai massage therapist, sound healer and breath work facilitator.
