Restorative yoga is simply that – restorative. It is well known for its calming and healing effect! What to expect: This modality is a practice focused on breath, energy awareness & meditation during long postures held between 5-15 minutes. Postures are supported by props in order for the body to relax & regenerate deeply. The mindfulness found in all disciplines of yoga is taken to the next level. Prepare yourself to venture into the depths of the mind, loosen tension and enjoy long, nourishing stretches while resting the body over pillows, blocks & blankets. Benefits: This practice is helpful for those needing a rest- as well as sleep deprivation, injuries, psycho emotional sensitivities such as stress & anxiety. About the instructor: Natalia Rodriguez Arango is a Colombian Yoga, Meditation, Breath & Stretch Therapist with over 1000 hours of training. Her passion for learning and sharing Yoga philosophy & history, drives her ongoing devotional studies on human psyche, spirit & anatomy. The root of her teachings is classical Yoga. Natalia invites students to pause, honor their body, listen to their energy & attune to their inner wisdom.
